Woods Path Valkyrie Acrylic by DrummerWolf Woods Path Valkyrie Acrylic by DrummerWolf
8.5x11 Bristol Paper
Acrylics

This painting took me a couple days to do. I'm still learning to paint with acrylics so bear with me. This doubled as an assignment for my Color Theory class learning about earthtones (i.e: browns, greens, etc.) i still need work on mixing browns and most greens.

Original composition was made in photoshop and features a character by one of my all time favorite anthro artists Jeremy Bernal.

wow!you dont see too many traditionalist based paintings involving anthros....i wish there were more out there like this because this is extremely well done!it comes across as fluid as appossed to forced and a very original take on an already established character.great work!

that's true most out there is digital art. I did this one as an assignment for the color theory class i was taking but i also did this as a tribute to Jeremy Bernal. It was because of his work in combination with me loving Digimon is the reason why i am an anthro artist

im very farmiliar with jeremys artwork(very good stuff!)along with myself and many others have been inspired by his works!!digimon is cool.i like digimon more than pokemon probably because its a tad darker, the monsters are more menacing and not as child-like!lol,ive always enjoyed monsters!!

for me Digimon was the more plausible and realistic idea out of the two. And as for Jeremy i've heard he's really cool to work with and personally i would love to meet him and work with him somewhere down the line
